Craig Verhage, also known as “The BBQ Ninja,” is headed to the Houston Livestock Rodeo and BBQ this weekend. Also the new Marketing Coordinator for Royal Oak Charcoal, Craig joined us on Episode 54 of the show.

Mississippi’s Craig Verhage is called the “BBQ Ninja” for his flamboyant bandana, sunglasses and take-no-prisoners style of open-fire cooking. Craig also is the new Marketing Coordinator for Royal Oak Charcoal and we’re pleased to visit with him – before he heads to this weekend’s Houston Livestock Rodeo and BBQ – on Episode 54 of the Tailgate Guys BBQ Show Podcast.

We also catch up with Mike Radosevich of Code 3 Spice’s to find out more about how he went from a career in law enforcement into the BBQ business, along with friend Chris Bohnemeier. They’re the real deal. Code 3’s Patriot Sauce won a Memphis in May World Championship for tomato-based sauce.
