When Thomas Gearhart of California’s Mudville BBQ won the 2019 American Royal Invitational Grand Championship, he figured to ride that momentum into the new season. Instead, the pandemic wiped out almost all competition BBQ on the West Coast in 2020. We catch up with Thomas on Episode 109 of the Tailgate Guys BBQ Show Podcast, just before he swings back into competition this weekend after the lengthy break.
