Porky Butts BBQ was the 2016 KCBS Team of the Year and 2017 American Royal Open Grand Champion. The fixture on the competition circuit took a break the last couple of years to open Porky Butts BBQ restaurant in Omaha, Nebraska last year. On a hunch, Hunter returned to competition last weekend at a double in Rodney, Iowa and showed he hasn’t lost his touch. Blane tells us what it was like to be back.
Bouska, the 2018 Jack Daniels Invitational World BBQ Champion, has a line of products as legendary as his cooking prowess. He tells us about his “BBQ Mud” which is new to market, just this week, and how the pandemic has affected his competition cooking and business in 2020.
