It’s just a little more than 24 hours until the Sweet 16 rounds of the immensely popular Tailgate Guys BBQ Pitmasters Bracket Challenge resumes. We’ll have voting in four games, starting at 6 p.m. Thursday, and four more at 6:30 p.m. Friday. Voting goes for 24 hours. The regional finals will begin at 6 p.m. Sunday and we’ll have a Virtual Final 4 of Competition BBQ with matches set next weekend.
One of the most intriguing matchups from the Sweet 16 round comes out of the Bill Arnold Region Brought to by Blues Hog. Not only two of the world’s best pitmasters, but two of the biggest brands in terms of rubs and sauces will meet as No. 3 seed Heath Riles BBQ takes on No. 10 seed Butcher BBQ. Both Heath and David have a large and loyal allegiance of fans, so we expect this one to come to the wire.
