Ercole Chila admits that his part of the country is better known for pizza or other culinary choices before it is for barbecue. But Chila and his Uncle Pig’s Barbecue Pit is making New Jersey proud with seven KCBS Grand Championships so far in 2022 and a No. 1 ranking in the KCBS Team of the Year standings.
