While we’re keeping the guest lineup for the kickoff edition of the Tailgate Guys BBQ Podcast under wraps – element of surprise in full effect – we have booked a major guest for Episode 2 dropping on Jan. 31.
Megan Day of Burnt Finger BBQ will be coming on the show. Megan and husband Jason are reigning Grand Champs of Rock N Ribs BBQ Festival in Springfield, Mo. Megan also was named this week one of the nine most-influential women in barbecue in an article in Southern Living magazine.
The duo has been on the competition ‘Q’ scene since 2009 and gained fame with their “Bacon Explosion” – a loaf of sausage wrapped in bacon. But Burnt Finger has exploded on the national scene even more in the last couple of years with Megan winning her episode of Chopped Grillmasters on Food Network, along with appearances on the NBC Today Show to show off her grilling expertise. Last summer, the Days debuted their own line of Burnt Finger BBQ ready-to-eat barbecue products on the Home Shopping Network.
So mark it down: Megan Day on the Tailgate Guys BBQ Show in two weeks.
